Boys and Girls Club Seek Mentors!! -Kenai Alaska

The Boys and Girls Club in Kenai offers two mentoring opportunities. Site-based mentors meet at the Kenai Clubhouse with their mentee’ and are free to participate in activities with the other kids or do quieter activities on their own while at the Club.

Immersion learning mentors are matched with four children with the goal of positively affecting the mentees’ social development and academic achievement through hands-on learning activities.

For each program, mentors are required to complete an interview, application, background check, and a training session. For more information  on becoming a mentor, contact Kimberli Dent at 907-283-2682 or kdent@positiveplaceforkids.com
