Kenai Cache Outfitters is a full service outfitter providing tackle, a complete fly shop, fish processing, shipping and guided fishing/scenic float trips.
Gwin’s Lodge and Kenai Peninsula Charter Booking Service is located right in the middle of Cooper Landing and cannot be missed. The historic Alaskan pioneer built log roadhouse is the closest lodge to the famous Kenai River and also the Russian River. Gwin’s is open 24 hours during the summer to better serve all of their guests. Gwin’s offers a restaurant and bar, store and fishing tackle shop along with guest log cabins and chalets. For convenience for their summer guests they also offer a charter booking service; charters booked for salmon, trout, halibut, remote fly-in bear viewing and fishing combos, rafting adventures, horseback riding, kayaking and Kenai Fjords tour cruises.
The Kenai Princess Lodge is another great place to while in Cooper Landing. The Kenai Princess Lodge has operating dates from May until September for their guests. The lodge offers all of the luxeries of a small resort all located in a very relaxing wilderness setting. The Kenai Princess Lodge offers two places for guests to eat. The Eagles Crest Dining Room has great views of the mountains and you can also see some great views of eagles while there. The Rafters Lounge is located on the sunny deck and also in their relaxing lounge. You can enjoy drinks while playing some darts or board games. The Kenai Princess Lodge even offers free internet for guests, RV park, an espresso stand, gift shop, guest laundry room and plenty of trails to go explore outside.
Cooper Landing has one school in their community and it is a part of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. Cooper Landing School is a public school that serves grades K-8. Cooper Landing School current has not received a GreatSchools Rating.
