Kenai and Soldotna Real Estate Market – September 2011

After posting only about the Kenai Real Estate, Soldotna Real Estate, and Kenai Peninsula Real Estate Markets yesterday.  I had a lot of questions about just the local Kenai and Soldotna area, so I went ahead and just grabbed the data for our local area.

I have provided the last three years of data to show how the Kenai and Soldotna Real Estate Market is doing.    This data covers the following cities: Sterling, Nikiski, Kasilof, K-Beach, Kenai, and Soldotna.

I get asked many times a week how the real estate market is doing, I can honestly tell you that we have a very strong market here.   We are not like the lower 48 and housing market that they are suffering in.   We have a very strong local economy and you if you look just in the sold listings column you will notice it is pretty steady.   Yes we do tend to have slower home sold in winter but this just the nature of our area.   Who really wants to move in the middle of winter?  However that does sometimes lead to some great home buying opportunities.

So if you have any questions feel free to post them, call, or even email I would be more the happy to explain what is the current state of our market here in the local Kenai and Soldotna area.
